sputtering

In September I finally got my permit and my Dad cared me up to Beech Bend at Bowling Green, Ky to F-body weekend (it is only 20 min from my house). It was a lot of fun he let me run my car Saturday night for test and tune. On about my third run...There wasnt much time for the car to cool down between the 2 and 3 run...i done my burn out and i thought i noticed some sputtering but i just thought it was me. So i take off and it shifts into Drive and it starts missing and cutting out, i let off and get back on it and when i reach quarter mile it does it again. We decide to leave and my Dad was driving and it would sputter if you got on it real hard...but it only does it if the car is HOT(not overheating but prolly 210-230 it think not 100% sure). About 2 weeks ago my buddy has a 96 Z28 6 speed and on the third time he got on it his cut out and went to sputtering. He ordered a new optispark supposedley an LT4 conversion kit. And new MSD Superconductor 8.5mm plug wires and this is going to fix his problem. What should I do. Any good caps and rotors? My car is a 94 Z28 automatic. thanks

opti wouldn't do it just warm, but ignition module or coil will(most common casue of a hot miss is ignition module)

Oh I see. What kind should i get like Crane or what? Should i just order form Jegs or should I from someone else?

go to advance and get a stock one it's the same module as the expensive ones (if anyone makes a "performance" one it's a computer is all)
