i have a problem maybe someone can help me. This has only happened 3 times in a year but twice in one day. I walked out to start my car this morning and the battery was fully charged and everything worked except the starter. it didnt click, ingage make a sound or anything . it was like there just plain wasnt a starter. I got underneath and hit the starter and jiggled the wires and still nothing. After being frusterated and walkin away i came back 10 min later and it started fine. Later today i went to wash my car and it did the same thing again. Any ideas of what the problem could be. Im thinkin maybe internal corrosion in the starter/wires, a bad collinoid. please help thanks

hmm, weird. my starter has been stuck before and i had to hit it with a f**king hammer to get it to release. id go get a new starter if i were u, i know i need one.

replace it with a new one and see how that goes.

sounds like a stuck bendix replace with new not rebuilt (unless you want to rebuild it)

well im not quite sure what a bendix is but ill be sure to find out and check it out. i would replace my started completly,69 z28 however my trees dont grow money. i work 3 jobs as it is now and i barely ever have cash. i would be pissed if i replaced it just to find out it is something simple. o and here it is 4 days later and no ploblems however tonight my interior light wouldnt turn off. firs time ever so i just pulled the fuse until i find the problem
