The schrader valve is after the injectors and its on the return line before the pressure regulator.


As far as your car and its running issues- the ASR steps in and retards the ignition to control the wheelspin- since its playing with your ignition I'm not surprised that you are getting some knock signals.

As much as I hate to say it, but I would double check to make sure that your opti was installed correctly. If it was off a little the computer can compensate for it under certain circumstances but it isn't a miracle worker. Sometimes it can be as simple as that-

but it cant be off, it has that damn dowel that only goes in one position, I already had to redo it once, I'd be damned if I have to take that apart again...... could you ellaborate what you were saying about ASR? the car does seem to run better with ASR off, as I posted in the new thread on this subject: http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/showthread.php?t=557564
