Problem was I had a leaky water pump that was dripping on the belt. I was going to take it to the mechanic but I decided to just skip the first day of college. Between me and my dad it wasn't hard at all. We really only had one problem. I installed a Hypertech 160 T-Stat and for some reason the T-Stat would not open. Car got one notch below the redline before I shut it off. Turned the car back on about 10 mins later and everything is workin fine.

I found a few things while doing the install too. The reason I have been having starting problems is because of this thing.

Yep, a toasted blaster coil connector. I cleaned it up and regreased the connection but still the coil needs to be replaced.

Second thing I found out was the bottom of elbow was ripped and the person who put it one made it to where the lip was tucted up in the elbow. So yeah I have been sucking up dirt for long time. Attachment 159169

And look how dirty butter flys are and they were even sticking. Attachment 159170 A little chemical cleaner and the butter fly look better and are not sticking, still need a new elbow though.

yeah its good that you got to see how much of a retard the previous owner was. mine thought tar was a suitable weatherstripping adhesive.

then again i use zip ties to hold my brake lines to the axle and to hold the power antenna in. i think its okay though cuz both of those are custom installations, so i think zip tipes are okay ;)
