True Dual Pics

Welp, here are the true duals, come straight out the long tubes, straight back, no x-pipe or h-pipe or nothing, 3" all the way back, into Dynomax Bullets, then dump behind the rear axle. I'll have a sound clip as soon as the weather clears up here. Oh yeah, I have vurtually no ground clearance. I've been over speed bumps and everything without a problem, but it still looks so low, anyways, here are the pics.

I would recommend an h-pipe or an x-pipe dependin on what you want for a little extra power, either higher or lower..but it looks good otherwise-

how does that sound? my dad wants to get true duals on his dak R/T but he would get it prolly from the stock manifolds to 2 seperate cats and then super 40's to soem nice chrome pipes out back. i was thinking he should maybe check out those or some borla mufflers or like you have the bullets. i know it will be loud as hell tho. cant wait for your sound clip. looks sweet as hell. bet it turns some heads

I can't image how loud that has to be with the LT's and that exhaust! Like Joe said though, get an X or H pipe.

NoRiceInside 01-01-2005 04:47 AM

why an x or h pipe? is it even necessary? whats better than just straight pipes out the back?

Camarocam 01-01-2005 10:13 AM

Dont ask me why but it evens the pressere on both side of teh pipe and makes more power.

I agree, it balances the pulses from bank to bank, and increases the scavenging

fbird42 01-04-2005 09:38 AM

**** i like that setup .. whats ground clearance like tho ?

1BADVETTE 01-04-2005 08:22 PM

haha, it's um......non-existant(sp)??? Heh, I cant get over everything though, so that's good, maybe 3-4"
