TSP Rumbler for 3.8
hows everyone like it? I'm thinkin about gettin it for mine. Anyone have a preference on the choice of tips they give you on the TSP website, or any tips in general I should look at? One tips any better then the other, (magnified sound, etc.)?
I had it on my v6 before I sold it. It's loud, but sounds good for a 6. As you probably know, its the cheapest cat-back too. Tips are just personal preference. I would just pick the ones you think look the best... You're not gonna need magnified sound on the TSP. :p
would you go with clamp on tips or welded?
I've always preferred welded... they are more stable and permanent. Unless you aren't sure with the tips you wanted I suppose. Clamp on's are easier to do yourself, but I'd say its worth it to get em welded.
you know what size the clamp on would have to be to fit?
Will tsp rumbler fit on a 97? or will i have to get more stuff to make it fit.
The exhaust shop had to do a slight modification on my v6, but they didn't charge any extra. (If you're not doing headers and the rest of the exhaust) They have to fab a piece from your stock pipe to the TSP, because obviously its bigger. Oh, but everything I just said involved welding... So I'm not sure how it would work with clamps.
haha its cool im gonna go with welded... but thanks for your help
no problem
I have it, Before I put headers on it was REAL loud...after the headers its much deeper and a bit quieter....100x better then it was before even then it was great. My FQuick has some video clips of it...all were taken before I had headers.
