TUNING??

I have just insalled aa set of kooks LT headers & off Y-pipe with a Corsa cat back sys.on my 2001 TA My ? is will I need to get my car tuned if this is the only mods I do to it?

It'd be best to get a tune, but then again I've heard some guys run their cars fine without tuning their cars after an exhaust install. Do you throw codes right now? You might just need to tune the codes out.

I didn't do a tune and you don't need to after an exhaust install. But it will help you get a couple extra hp if you do the tune. So it's completely up to you.

hmmm. well you shouls spend some time on the sites like this and figure out what you wanna do, there are tons of things, some you should tune the car after doing, some you dont need to at all.

As simple as headers and exhaust, I don't think a tune is worth it at this point, unless you have extra money and want to document how much every little mod made in power gain...at most I would say get itdyno'd so you have a chart and go from there. At least you will have a baseline to work from when you really start doin some big power adders..

No you dont need a tune from just exhaust add ons.
