What type of OBDII code is this?

DTC P0804 1-4 Upshift (Skip Shift) Lamp Control Circuit Malfunction

i already installed my skip shift eliminator, and now i want to take care of that skip shift light.

with my camaro i just removed it. with my trans am its different...the bulbs is soldered to the circuit board. if i remove it its gone. this is the DTC for the skip shift light, but i know that the SES light will only come on for Type A, Type B or Type C, so is this perhaps a Type D DTC?

well on my 95 Z theres a code for it but it doesnt light the SES light so i was worried bout an OBDII application...

i have the cags eliminator and havent gotten anything about it.

NoRiceInside Jan 21, 2006 03:38 PM

you dont know what im talking about then...the cags eliminator doesnt set a code...removing the bulb does. the bulb is used in a skip shift circuit and removing it opens the circuit.
