What is wrong with my car.....

Ok, I just got the car back and it had got a new rear main seal and a oil pan gasket. Well when I got it home I notice smoke coming from the engine so I open it up and let it out and call my dad up and he talks to the guy who did my car and they both said that it could just be old oil that is on the engine just burning up....and some drips I noticed as well. Well I let the car sit there on for like 30-40mins and maybe got 2 more drips but no smoke so I thought ok maybe its good now. Well next day at lunch going to my friends house to chill and later come out and notice it dripped oil and it looked fresh. Also hesitated to start took it a few secs to turn over. Any ideas what is wrong with it? Or is it gona do it because of old oil or w/e Im kinda annoyed cause the guy had it for 10 days. He worked on it after work but still plenty of time.

eh, you just got it back. id say give it a couple of days and see if its still doing it. watch the oil level very closely though.

Meh, still doing it.............I guess its time to bring it back. That and my dad said I should take it to a car wash and carefully spray it down see if it gets rid of any oil on the engine. thoughts?

Oil can pretty easly and stay there for a while.

I spillt a littble bit when filling before taking an 8h drive to my folks house. When I finally got there, I noticed what looked like fresh oil dripping from the underside. Turns out that the winds under the car just the oil allllllll over the under side. And even after 8h there was still enough to drip and cause a little smoke from burn off.

yeah wash it off real good, if you have an automatic place with the undercarriage wash use that then do a regular pressure wash
