Arch has it right by not being picky. I hear all these people talking about "I WANT A 69 CAMARO". Ya, so do a ton of other people. If I could find a reasonably priced (dont have the money for a reasonably priced one but you get the idea) 67-73 Camaro id probably pick it up. Actually im picky myself and as long as its a 67-69 (i know im a hypocrite but i still aloud myself 3 years) id get it. 1st Gens are just gorgous (sp?)

yes, I love first gens. Its okay to be specific by 3 years, after all the first gen was only there 3 years. I'm not really too specific. I'd like a firebird/trans am 67-68,77-79, but I'd settle for a 67-81, if I came across the right deal. I'd prefer before the 80, though, cause after 79 the engines started to get weaker.

My first car was a '69,then a '68 and finally the one I really wanted my '67 RS/SS that I currently own.I found all three in the Milwaukee area, but that is becoming hard.I bought my '67 for $3200,but it didn't look like it does now by any means.

Your best bet of getting one at a decent price (not the only way)is to not expect to have a show ready car.
Korndogg ,you definately got a good deal.

My Dad is always buying/selling Camaros for parts or Camaros that need restoration. Some are from down south, but most are from our area.

I'm usually up at Georgies on Sat. nights during the summer.I don't go up to the Hwy. much anymore, although I plan on going up to Oscars from time to time.

Does your gf's Dad take his Chevelle to shows around here?
My Dad would really like a '70 Chevelle. He has a '70 El Camino SS 396 among other Muscle Cars.

I dont cruise the Hwy first of all lol. I usually try to take scenic routes.

And ive only been going out with her for like a month and a half so I really dont know what he does with it. I know that he goes to some shows but i dont know which ones. Im taking my car up to the Dells show with them though. And I plan to go to Georgies this year.

When I do go up to the Hwy. I usually take back roads up to Oscars or just take one lap.One lap is enough to scare me.I fear for the life of my car going up there.
It used to be alot more fun "cruising" years ago.I would be up there almost every night.I have the Cruising ticket to prove it,lol

Probably see you up at Georgies.
