why wont 4th gear work
 

i just finished a bunch of work on the iroc motor (Cam and headers and what not) and i havent done anything to the trans except re-route the cooler lines, but now i don't get 4th gear. i put in the new shifter, but that was before the cam and it was working great. i did adjust the TV cable and it made no difference. its possible i hooked the cooler lines up the opposite way but i dont think it would make any difference. Any ideas :confused: ? Thanks

bad converter (could be a coincedence) the lockup switch (I think that year was electrical lockup) if the lines were backwards it wouldn't make too much difference since it just flows through the radiator.Basically the converter isn't locking to put the trans in OD

I know the feeling, that was real common in the s10's not sure on the f body though

its cause u have a turbo-350:) j/k
