Window Problem

Lately my drivers side window has been giving me problems.....It goes down all the way as it should but when I put it up it stops at like 90% of the way up. Its a power window but thats what happens I can sit there for like 5mins and it will then work and go up the rest of the way. This happens everyday so im curious to as what could be wrong?

Either it is too tight on the guides or you need a new motor. They have a overload in the motor so if it over amps the motor it will de energize it till it cools down.

Here is how to adjust the window. http://shbox.com/1/adj_window.html

Here is how to replace motor. http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

Good luck.

I had a problem similar to that. I ended up replacing the motor. Now it like shudders (sp?) as it's going up or down. But at least it's working! :)

the shuddering is from teh grease more than likely
