windshield wipers

Ive been meaning to ask this for a long time, but i keep forgetting until lately when its been raining. When my wipers clear the window, they clear every area but this spot:

heres the pic unedited (you can see the dried spot of where it didnt clear)

i know its a bad angle, but i think you can kinda get the idea, its just one spot that never gets wiped off. Its not the wiper blade because i replaced them and it still did it. Im just wondering if anyone else has any idea why the hell its doing this, or if anyones had it happened. Its really annoying, and it would like my wipers to clear the whole windshield. Please help me out. Thanks

what type blades are you using? could be they are too much of a universal, and don't put enough pressure on the windshield.another possibility is the arm is slightly bent

I dont think its the blades since I switched them and its doing the exact same spot... as for it being bent... do i just go ahead and bend it back? (only if i know which way to bend it)

so the blades are going over that spot but arent wiping the water away

or

the blades are just totally not even touching that spot.

many blades made today don't work, you can put as many as you want on they need to flex to match teh windshield. If the arm is bent you'll never get it bent right.

The are passing over the spot, and not wiping the water away

Well, I had the generic brand or whatever on before, I dont know exactly what kind, it was on there when I got my car. Just recently I changed them because the blade ripped, and Im not sure the name brand, I might still have the packaging, Ill check when I go home this weekend, but its a tri-blade, so Im assuming If i have a triple wiper blade and its still missing, Im not thinking its the blade.

it has nothing to do with the blade type, it's the housing it's in, the cheap ones are too flat and useless (anco is the same way)

what price is considered cheap?.. I paid $7 a blade, and I thought that was a decent price... there were $3 up to $10 ones.

And I mean, how would it be clearing the rest of the area on my window perfectly, except that spot? The other side clears perfectly without missing an area as well. Im leaning towards it being a bent wiper arm.

that spot is where the blad and arm meet, $7 a blade is cheap (the ones on the GP are $18 each)the only way to tell is swap out the arm (I used to keep a couple of teh common ones in my toolbox)
