Zaino - How much you use for 3 coats?

I am curious as to HOW MUCH of the 2oz. bottle do you use to do your entire 3 coats? Using ZFX. and either Z2/Z5

NOTE: This is ONLY being used on the Paint, not the windows

1. What year, model Car?

2. How much do you fill the 2oz bottle? (full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4?)

3. How much is left in your 2oz. bottle once you've done your 3 entire coats? (

Thanks

it cost alot

Yeah, unfortunately I haven't used Zaino either because it's so expensive when I can get the same results with Klasse All-In-One with half the work (no mixing and crap), but I thought you should be able to get like 20 some coats out of one bottle of Zaino?

Yeah I heard that is one of the good thing about Zaino. Not only do you get good results but the stuff almost last forever.

Klasse All-In-One lasts about 6 months with one coat, and then there's the Sealant Glaze which layers on top of it like Zaino. :D

What are you using to dry it? Sounds like whatever you're using is just streaking and not actually getting the water up. Usually givin a light coat of wax will get rid of the spots... try something like Meguiar's NXT, easy on and easy off so it's not a big chore to do after washing the car.

That's true, it really does last a long time.

Paul, to be honest I don't remember how much I used but it wasn't much at all and since it lasts so long the small bottle's they send you will last you years.

i use a towel to dry my car

meissen 03-13-2005 10:38 PM

make sure the towel is not leaving streaks when you do it. I go back and forth between using a leaf blower and a towel, when I use a towel I do the whole car and then use a 100% cotton towel to kinda buff the car.. gets rid of any streaks.

For 3 coats I make up about 1/4 of the 2oz bottle. There's practically nothing left. I don't like wasting the Zaino or the ZFX so I try to use everything I have in that bottle . Fortunately a little goes a long way because of how thin the application is.
