most of the time, when things like that are done to an 18-wheeler(rims, fancy paint, lots of chrome, etc..), its just to draw attention to the company, and to help bring more business from that attention.

or drivers own the **** rig... My buddies dad owns his and its pretty tricked out

most owner operators don't make enough (average pay is .35 a mile cost to operate is .30 a mile)

well, those are the same owners that DON'T drive the volvos, and the upscale kenworths. Then there are those that can afford it. And as far as me being a hood or drug dealer....:flamethro Die.

volvos are not that expensive, neither are the kenworths, the freight business right now sucks (a few members of my wifes family are truck drivers and her dad retired recently from driving truck)
