360 or Wii
 

I've been thinking about buying a game console and it's between the Wii and the 360.
The 360 seems to have better graphics but it costs an extra $90 and the controlers for the 360 are still out of date unlike the Wii.

I'd rather hear from actually owners or those that have played both sysetems enough to have a real opinon. My dad owns a 360 so I've played that but I've only played the Wii once and that was on Justin's system.

I guess my biggest fear with the Wii is that I'll get bored with it once the coolness of the controlers stops.

i deffintely say 360 good games for it.

I would say 360.. then get Bioshock or GTA4 when it comes out.

The Wii is one of those systems that you will tire of.

The X360 has, of the three consoles available, the strongest software library now and into the future. The PS3 has been a complete flop thus far, and while the Wii is dominating, again, it's very hard to not get bored with it... call it 'Gaming-lite'.


My vote is for the X360. Plus you can connect it to a network with a PC and stream music and movies to your TV. The Wii doesn't even play DVDs.

I love the Wii, but its definitly one of those systems for group parties. They dont have enough good single player games out there right now... Maybe once they get it online it will provide more entertainment.

Im actually looking at getting a 360 very soon. I need one for GTA4, but I really want forza and condemned and a couple other games.

Ill have to vote 360 also... Coming from a guy who hated xbox throughout high school, thats saying a lot. The endless list of games, online, and redesigned controller win my vote for sure.

360 hands down, GTA4 is going to be the . Rainbow six vegas > everyone.

As a person with both, and who is now selling his Wii, I'd tell you 360. The Wii is cool and neat and fun, but it's a party game. It's perfect if you like having people over to play fun stupid games. Games like Wii Sports, Mario Party, Rving Rabbids are all a blast to play with other people. The single player games are okay, but the graphics are PS2 ish. If you like sports games or driving games the Wii is lacking. Madden is lame, Tiger Woods golf is frustrating and there is basically no dirivng games. 1st person shooters are pretty cool with the controls, but still graphically and sound wise not that great. Only other real positive for the Wii is the virtual console games you can download for a couple bucks. If you like the old school games, that's pretty sweet.

The 360 graphically rocks. Theres much better games all around, and more variety of the games. The add on HD DVD player for $180 is a steal. The online play is pretty good. It allows me to play with some of my friends who have moved around the country now. Plus if you want to get techie, you can hack it and download games illegally.

whats sony gonna do since the ps3 is a flip i want one but i think after reading 360 is better for now?

sony fd up the ps3 bad. The price was one thing, but I think theres like 7 people in the whole US that own one. The should have strayed from making a somewhat built PC and slapped PS3 emblems on it and stuck to the idea of consoles. I used to be a die hard PS fan, but the ps3 just pissed me off... they lost the battle bad.

How much are you asking? Maybe if I can get a good deal I can buy both.

Its sad about the PS3, It has promise but Sony screwed up...and Blu Ray is being out sold by HD-DVD so thats no help for sony.

Reserve on it is $300. Which is what I'm hoping to be around. If it doesn't go I'll have to regroup and think about a price. Might just trade in the games, and sell the Wii by itself.
