6th Anniversary of 9/11

Well today is the sixth anniversary from that horrible day in 2001. I can't believe it's been six years already and it's weird to think that something I lived through will end up in the history books taught at schools from now on.

I'm sure we all remember where we were and what we were doing when we first heard the news of the attacks.
I was in college in Florida sleeping when my roomate came into the room and said that terriosts have attacked us and that an airliner had crashed into the world trade centers and another one had hit the Pentagon. Like most people I really didn't believe him when he said it but got up and watched it all unfold on the news.

Here's to all the families that were affected by these cowards and murders.

I wont forget it, I was in 8th grade when it happened. The teachers were acting weird and students were wanting to know why, my mom ended up picking me up and she didnt say a word till we got home. We lived on base at the time and it took forever to get on the base...got home and thats when I learned of it. Truly a sad day indeed :(

I dont know what I can say here that can portray my feelings on the subject. All I have to say is this, rest in peace, all those that died September 11th, 2001. And please keep your soldiers in your mind and hearts at all times. Regardless of the politics, they are dying for you. Do not confuse the war with the warrior.

Yes sad day indeed. I will never forget it, It is mainly the reason why I joined the military to do my part to help out.

I was a freshman, and I stayed home sick from school. I remember waking up at about 8:30 and turning the tv on, going through channels and it was on every single channel. So I was like wtf and watched then I called my mom at work shortly after. I was watching live when the second plane hit.

This day is truly a tradegdy, my heart goes out to all who had family members, and everyone who fought to save lives. R.I.P.

MetalliCamaro 09-12-2007 12:23 AM

Yup, I was in the 7th grade. And everyone was freaking out. Except for most of us students. we were told by the teachers.. they didnt show us anything. so we were like Who cares.. Until we got home.. I dont know about them, But my mother was like Watch this BS. and I was shocked.

Cant Believe its been 6 years, feels like 2 years ago.. So that says we have been paying $2.50 Per gallon of gas for 6 years... Unreal... how did I afford riding my snowmobile?

Heck i remember people talking about Hiting 3 bucks a gallon. and I thought they were high... unreal.

It was very sad day at all. I give all respect to all people who died in that incident.
