You're forgetting *length* of the contact patch. The width of a contact patch will be the same (or very close) for a 195/60R14 and a 195/50R15 but the lengths will be different.

imo, your just making excuses to be quite honest... I know people w/ civic's running mid to low 12's on a street radial (read: NOT a BFG or anything like it).... so, you claiming that you need slicks to run u'r stock H22 Civic @ the track is compleate and utter BS. |
