Funny, those are some of the nicest camaros I have ever seen.

Japs sure do know how to build a car.

Japanese only like Camaros for the same reasons North Americans like AE86s... because it's a fad.

Thing being is japs LOVE american culture. Its not uncommon to see them rideing harleys and such in japan. The japanese know that if they had caddie dealers and such in japan that they would be buying them up like hot cakes. Funny you mention those being so nice.. Yet apperance wise they are virtually stock. I think japs have a thing for third gens. My old shop teacher worked for mitsu over there for a few years and told me alote of the engineers there wanted them. Fun cars.

The problem with American cars over there, is the Japanese government doesn't look kindly on people who buy anything non Japanese. It's frowned upon, and in extreme cases, they are audited, and treated almost like criminals. It's a culture we would never approve of, but their motto is "Business is war" and they take it literally. Look at how much of the US, and Vancouver, etc that they own. Eventually we'll have Skyline's, and all the other what we call JDM cars here. It's only a matter of time.

you're saying that japs love american culture because they are sometimes seen riding harleys ? i bet you there are at least 10 japanese vehicles in the states for every american vihicle (including harleys) in japan, so that must mean that we love japanese culture then, right?

also, you're comparing a camaro to a civic ???? thats like comparing apples and oranges, its a comparison.

Yea, at least give the camaro some sort of chance by comparing it to a festiva or something shitty like the camaro.

well, look at how many imports (hondas specifically, theyre ing like a plague) there are compared to domestics here, what does that say about north america? and dont say about gm sucks and , cause then youd own a honda, not a JDM honda. think about that.

Actually the comparison was more of a joke since this is the smack talking section. Not to mention ive been to japan a few times and talked with car buffs there. All I can say is RICE is a north american thing most of them over there do up everyhting under the hood and then focus on apperance after. Like most V8 domestic owners , they too love american muslce. Not once did I get any ignorant comments about supposid inferior quality domestic cars. This talking comes from this nation (north america). Theres alote of B/S talk on these forums that I rarely hear in person. The problem with domestic auto makers is they concentrated on trucks for way to long and practically ignored cars. 10 imports in the USA per 1 domestic is a load of bullshit. GM alone sold 4.66 million cars in the United States in 2004. Even the mighty toyota sold 6.71 million vehicles WORLDWIDE.

SuprAdam yeah lets compare it to your turd and see what happens...
