Air compressor experts I need your help! **pic inside**
Hey all, I'm having trouble sourcing a part/number for my compressor.
It's an 8 gal campbell hausfeld air compressor. The part I need is the 3 way manifold located just under the pressure switch circled below. I cracked it by overtightening an air fitting. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...sureswitch.jpg Can anyone help me out? |
See if you can remove the manifold from the pressure switch. If you can, and it has 1/4" npt threads, which I think it should, just get a 1/4" black pipe "T" and use that instead. Less than $2 fix.
If you can't remove the manifold, what I would do is seal the cracked output with lots of jb weld and a 1/4" plug, put the "T" below the manifold and run my air line from the "T". If that fails you can buy a new pressure switch from Princess Auto for about $20. |
This is like the most tech support i have seen on this site in like, forever!
