I was thinkin to just get some a bit older like for less than a G, arent there some that you dont need insurance to have or are those just the slow ones? |
prety sure anything over 49 cc you need to have plates lights insurance and all that stuff including a license. you wont find much for uner a grand that doesnt need work. my buddy has an 80's kawasaki i think and he was asking 750 but it needs a bit of work.

A lot of ppl are leaning towards this new product...
It's a mini-bike, (not a pocket bike) but bigger and has everything you need to be legal on the road. It is 150cc (one tank of gas which is 8 bucks of premium will last you 150-200 km depending on how you drive). Only problem is I know 2 manufactures and both have the VIN as ATV (all terrain vehicle). And by-law ATV on the road has to have 4 wheels that touch the ground all the time. (you would need a new VIN, and the bike registered as a LSM (low speed motorcycle) in order to get it on the road) I was considering it, but I have a good job/ close by so gas really isn't an issue. Besides if it was getting that bad I wouldnt mind a normal Mountain Bike (No insurance, no gas, and good exercise) |
well as it is now i travel from brampton airport and mayfield to mississauga agentia and mississauga road taking backroads all the way so a scooter or moped i would need it to do about 80 to not have people ram me off the road.
Although, if I have to get a license for it I might just by a motorcycle although my fiance would kill me LOL |
in holland everybody uses a bike ... but that's BECAUSE THEY CAN ... short distances in smartly designed cities and huge bicycle lanes . Other countries in western europe make it accessible as well . And the bike lanes can be used by scooters .
but crossing toronto with a scooter ... when you have -40 degrees outside ? When it snows and nobody cleans it up ? ... hmmm ... |
