Anybody bought stuff off Triniboy?
 

This guy is a scammer and he totally had screwed me over. Here is his thread about selling the fake 97 h22 tranny http://www.gtcars.ca/online/showthread.php?t=19860

He seemed like a well trusted guy when i met up with him. Told me that it's guarentee to work and will resolve any problems if the tranny is bad.
As promised, this tranny came off of his accord with an h22 swap and all gears are good also.

It took me sometimes to get it install because i had to save up for labour and get a new clutch. Well, i finally got the tranny in and had to leave the car at the shop, because it never came with the speed sensor housing, the housing from my 1996 h22 trannny was not interchangeable with his tranny. I went on and ordered the housing for the 97 tranny. The cost of the housing was ridiculious, but it was ok because i can finally get my car up and running.
agian, it did not fit and i was getting suspicious. I tried looking for the tranny code and it wasn't there, probably was riped off from him. So i couldn't take it anymore and drove around without the speed sensor housing. My car felt soo slow, (accord longer gearing)but then i thought it was probably because my vtec was disabled cus i didn't have the housing installed. Also 3rd gear was grinding like crazy.
I went on and did a test with some friends on the highway to see how much i rev. At 100km/h i reved at 24000 rpm and 2100rpm at 90km/h. These numbers seems too low to be an h22 tranny.
I contact him and emailed him many times, but no reply. Then I call his cell and he would never pick up. Im assuming because he remembered my cellphone. I dialed *67 to block my # and he picked up. As soon as i asked for him he would hang up. I guess he remembered my voice also.
I have not threaten him and had always encouraged him to call me and we will work something out. Like maybe reimburse 75% of my money. I have his tranny out already and replaced it with an h23 tranny. The labour of putting on his tranny and taking it off was too much. I need some money back for my lost

I know i should of looked at the tranny code at the begining, thats something to keep in mind for the future. That was stupid of me,but then it was riped off from the beginning and he woulda probably convinced me it was a real h22 tranny.

If anyone that has delt with him and know his addy, i would like to bring this tranny back and get my money back. That's all that i ask, no violence.

he finally replied and says he's out of the country. and the phone number that he gave me is his work #. He's being all innocent that he does not know about the gear grinding and that tranny is truely a h22 tranny,because of the paper work that he has. How can someone ride on a accord tranny and still not know it? beats the hell out of me. I dun care. i want my money back, what he sold me was not what it really was.

out of the country my ass. Dont buy his bullshit.
