Anyone

work for or know someone that works for Sprint/Nextel?? I need a new nextel phone and I wanted to know which ones were better than my i850. Plus they are so damn expensive. Can't get a good one for under $250.

I am my companys nextel account manager. What are you looking to do with teh device? Are you currently nextel or sprint? Have you thought about the hybrid phones?

I am Nextel. I was looking at the i870 and i880. I don't need internet or anything but I want picture and video capabilities.

880 is the way to go if you want to stay with nextel and dont want to get a powersource/hybrid phone, we have 3 of those units at work, and the users rave about how they are by far the nicest nextel they have ever used. They come in red(kinda a copper/brown color- very nice looking if you ask me), black, and silver.

Personally, I would say take your number to at&t. Thats what I use, I hate nextel's coverage and devices. Irony?

well I suppose my plan is up in July. I guess I can wait until then. Otherwise I have to pay that early cancellation charge right?

Yup, depending on your plan and terms and conditions of when you signed it, it could be up to $250. But the usually start at 250 and for every month you have the plan it goes down by 20 or something, like I said depends on the plan, but regardless of what you have, there will be some charge, im putting my money on upwards of $100.
