Anyone else miss the Grunge "revolution"?
I was just listening to Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Moist, and the rest (you get the picture)...Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden got me thinking how pathetic the music scene is these days, especially the garbage on t.v.
I'm saying this assuming many people here are around the same age, so you might've been into the "other-wordly" tunes of the mid-90's. damn, i miss that . It needs a come back. |

There is many good bands to listen to IMO rap is complete crap.I cant relate to any of it.. all that nuggin n thuggin bullshit is a product of the ghetto half of those rappers are trying to get out of the ghetto meinwhile you got these little punk ass white boys with there daddies BMW sayin they were born and raised in detroit. PATHETIC.
Some good solid bands of today papa roach system of a down pillar audioslave red hot chili peppers the list goes on. |
What's wrong with music these days? Rock is making a nice comeback, and there are lots of great bands emerging from the woodwork. There was a time probably about a year or two ago where I would agree with you, but it's re-emerging now. Not EVERYTHING on the Muchmusic Countdown is rap, hip-hop or dance anymore :P

Grunge is so much better then todays music...speciafically Nirvana, i could listen to them over and over and not get tired of it
