Anyone in here got a Zune?
 

I got to play around with one and from what I could tell, it was better than the iPod in almost every way. Bigger screen, customizable background, sexy and durable as hell (honestly, i think it's scratchproof) and the same price as the iPod. I know they sold like hotcakes during christmas, just wanted to see if anyone here has one, if so..what are your opinions on it?
I've got one in the mail that should be here tomorrow, so I'll post pics and give my review on it in a few hours :thumbsup:

Probably still get the K5 over a Zune, but Zune looks cool too.

How is it a retarded idea? Why wouldnt microsoft want to get in on the huge mp3 market? What is retarded about someone finally making a product better than the boring same old iPod? Also, have you ever seen them at all? They colors are very obviously black, white and brown...and don't knock the brown one, it's selling better than the white one.

it will be a hit with vista. having everything work with eachother by the same company isnt a bad idea at all. just like the 360....vista detects my 360 and since theyre the same manufacture, they sync so easily. you can share files, movies, pics, songs or whatever

ill get a zune come spring time to check it out and give it a wirl. ill still keep the ipod cause i love it but ill try out a zune for a bit

Ill stick with my iPod.. Its thinner and theres really no need to change the background on a mp3 player.. And if thats the case my phone can hold 500 songs and I can change the background on it..:)

And yea I have seen them... Thats why I commented on their colors because thats all I can take out of my experience with them.

Maybe they should have come up with somthing more attractive... As far as their finally 'jumping into the market'... Theyre worse than the PS3 jumping in a year later than the 360. Definitly missed the train.

The player is alright...but seriously...i'd take an ipod of the two.

The zune has it's pluses, i'm not gonna be completely ignorant here.
The screen looks great.
But i'm seriously not a fan of the XBLA style "points" system for purchasing music. That's rediculous. Throw a freakin price tag on there so i can just buy the song and know what i'm paying for it.

The zune software feels rather neanderthal compared to itunes (but i don't like itunes either).

And last i heard, the zune doesn't even work with vista!

Also, there are rare pink zunes about...they're packaged in normal zune boxes...think you're getting a white one?? maybe not. lol maybe it's pink!
