Arthritis

Does anyone have any good home remedies or homeopathic remedies for arthritis? I am having some knee pain and I would appreciate any help. I hate going to the doctor and avoid it at all cost unless I absolutely have to. Help?

I think I've read before that Noni Juice is supposed to help with aches and pains related to arthritis. I think you can even buy it in pill form at Walmart or anywhere that sells vitamins and minerals. I don't think it's too expensive so it might be worth a shot.

You could try some ice packs. They also have some creams at the pharmacies but I don`t know how good they are. I have arthritis in my right hand. Ice usually helps me or Ibuprofen.

Thanks guys! I have been icing down the joints but it just doesn't seem to be doing much. I guess I'm having an arthritis flare because I'm developing other joint problems right now. My fingers are having trouble and I've never had trouble with my fingers before. I may try the Noni juice. It won't hurt to try. I do use BioFreeze which is a capsacin based topical. It does help some but when it's this bad, I don't think anything helps.

I do not think I could ever icing down anything, too chilly. I have tried the creams before but I honestly think they are useless I am not even sure what they really are for, but for anything I have needed they have been a no go. I am interested in the Noni Juice though, might give that a shot myself.

Actually, what helps best is to alternate ice pack with a heating pad. Strange as it sounds, you do one for a bit and then switch to the other, and it does help. I've done this myself. You could try taking an over the counter like Advil which is made up of the same stuff as some prescribed medications for inflammation and joint pain. Good luck.
