Yeah so I haven't been on here much the past two days.. my 15 year old Shitzu that I've practically grown up with my entire life had a stroke sometime friday, her entire left side has no use anymore.. she can't even walk. It's gonna be time to put her down really soon, next week or so, but **** it sucks so bad... never had to put a dog down and I know it's not gonna be easy for me.

Sorry to hear that but you're doing the right thing. You know she's in pain now and can't even walk so she'll be better off.

well, truthfully she doesn't seem like she's in pain at all.. she hasn't yelped once while we've handled her.. her side is just numb I think. I sat and rubbed the muscles of her legs thinking maybe it might help for whatever reason, she didn't even wince or anything to act like she's in pain. She's eating normal, drinking normal (well.. normal if you set aside the fact that we're holding her body up so she can stand...) and we take her outside and hold her up and she goes to the bathroom normal, so I can't really say she's in that much pain or suffering, but I know it's still the right thing to do.

yeah, its the right thing.. Sorry to hear that though. My dog's geting on in years, and the last thing I want to think about is her being gone.

i had to put one of my dogs down. long time ago. we got a chocolate lab when she was 2 weeks old, 3 weeks later she got parvo. we had to put her down

yea it does, i don't even know how im going to be away at college and not see my dog for long periods of time. i love my dog. sorry man, but it is the best thing.

thats bad news, i had to put my rottwieler down in the summer, i had him since i was 5 it was really tough, that dog went with me everywhere i went cruisn with him alot good times i miss him a lot
