Burner Problems.....HELP!

Alright, I love to make new cds for my car. But for a while now when I burn the cds it skips somewhere on the cd and gets worse the farther it goes.. Sometimes the song makes like weird sounds that sounds like it was recoreded under water... But the CD's are brand new and the songs are good so why does the burner give them skips?

Could anyone help me, I really want to fix it so I can make cd's without them all skipping and sounding retarded.. lol Please Anyone...

you need to get a lense cleaner CD for your cd player. i have one with little brushes on it and it cleans the lense. could be the problem if every one of your CDs is skipping.

take the cover off teh burner and clean the proper way with rubbing alcohol and a q tip, those brush things do more harm than good ( they rub the dirt off into the plastic mechanism is that really better)

Hey I got one of those brush cds and did it and so far it seemed to work.. So its all good right now...

I use k hypermedia and they play in every cd player I've tried (used to burn demo discs for teh store)plus they tend to be cheap my father in law uses the audiobahn ones and hasn't had a problem the memorex ones he has won't play in his delco car radio or on my dvd player

Bernotas05 04-27-2005 04:05 PM

yea ive had a few problems with memorex cd's when i put mp3 cds on them they wont play in my car, the only brand that ive had a problem with so far. it pisses me off cuz i spend time picking out like 150 songs to put on it and i cant even play it in my car

it's even more fun when using their dvd's spend 8 hours burning a disc and it won't play anywhere but the computer :banghead:
