I'm sick of the major media idiots saying the new orleans thing was his fault, on our news there were federal agencies in LA the day after the storm, but they couldn't get to NO because of the flooding, the problem is the mayor blew off help, and didn't prepare (Mobile had the shelters stocked with food and water on the Friday before the storm)

I agree, I've heard their mayor is a complete idiot.

EXACTLY! Since when was it the federal government's fault when the local government quite literally did nothing at all. But hey, let's blame the federal government for not being there even though they had to wait for permission from the local government. They were in negotiations for something like 4 hours before they were even allowed to enter the city.

Exactly, the federal government isn't allowed to step in until the local government gives them permission. Either people don't understand that or they're just idiots. (I'm guess a little of both).

I heard about that, that's just stupid. Talk about going to far.
I would love to be able to do that, there would be a lot of places on earth that would just be wiped out.

I just dont like him, not at all. Im sorry if I have my own opinion, but I really dont like anything he does (or doesnt) do. I dont think the hurricane is his fault or anything, thats just stupid, but I think he could be helping out a little more with it. It shouldnt have to resort to other cities donating money for the cause, although I'm not disagreeing with the gesture. There are several other reasons why I dont like him, but Im not going to get into it over the internet, I dont want to get a huge battle going or anything. One more reason: gas prices have rose over 80% since hes been in office. Everyone drives here, and im sure no one would agree with that.
