I've been pricing hotels in the area, and they range from $45-$100 for most of the basic hotels.

Meiss, where is the park supposed to be, and how far from the original location? I'd rather they had kept it at the same spot. And any more about the track? They said they were updating the site by the 20th, but it still hasn't been yet.

Im definetly going to be at Superfest 2006. I always stay at the headquarters hotel.

I only know as much as they update their site with. :( It's hosted by EMCC and WMCC, and I'm really not sure why they're being so bad about updating and just letting us know what's going on. I visit the site everyday to see what they say. I have mixed feelings about the park compared to the Washtenaw Community College spot they had. For one, there was absolutely no shade what so ever. I don't know if I ever really posted pics of the "after math" but I was a friggen lobster, and had horrible burns on my feet from wearing sandals on Saturday. With the park, I'm guessing that there'd be more spots for shade, so that's always a huge plus. Aside from that, though, truthfully I don't care where it is. I've seen pics of when it was at Domino Farms which is right by WCC, that looked like a cool place too. Here's some previous year's pics..

The more I think about it the more I want to go, it's only a five hour drive from my house and if we caravan there it'll be even more fun. We could leave at nine in the morning and be there by one.

I agree, how do we want to do hotels? Do we want to get a suite and just split the cost or everyone fend for themselves.

Would be cool if we could all stay in the same place together... It really doesnt matter to me, I think either way would be fine.

My wife said she might want to come. I'm not sure if that'll be a good thing or a bad thing. :eek: That'll mean we can't share a suit but more than likely she won't come because I know she'll just get bored and won't understand us getting exicted over ZL1's and Dick Harrells.

No, no... I mean since Adric and I will be in La Crosse, well have to leave at 4 or 5 am to meet all of you in Kenosha or wherever... which I said I didnt mind, cuase Im excited to go.
