Car got broken into again.....I think

I can't be sure since there since there isn't anything in the car to steal (courtesy of the last @sshole who stole my stuff). I was at the outlet mall in San Marcos with my folks, and when I got back to my car my driver's seat was pushed all the way back and there was a chunk missing out of the trim that surrounds the passenger side door lock switch.

I am getting sick of this sh*t.

I have a Viper alarm system on the car, but the horn doesn't work....guess I'll need to get it fixed before I get my new stereo system.

Tellin ya bro, get the system that pages you from a quarter mile of away. Also beef up the alarm itself, one of the major things I want to install soon is the microwave sensor that will literally sense people walking up towards your car. I don't care if it's always going off, as long as it scares people away that's what matters to me. :)

I've got that alarm on my car. Seriously, get it.

Get the absolute best alarm out there. Seems like with your car it'd be worth it. I can't imagine living in an area where you have to constantly worry about your car getting broken into.

you should put REAL vipers in your car. that would stop some people.

get a pain inducing siren for the interior, they may break in, but they will regret it (and tuck the sucker up in the dash where they can't get to it, I pull teh dash out and mount it then install teh dash around it)

My MS2007 has that feature, what sucks is that once you enter a building the range is cut in half.

I give people as little reason as possible to break into my car.

How do I do this?

1. Stereo faceplate is never left in the vehicle. A head unit without a face plate is like a car without wheels. Nothin' doin'.
2. No tint on the windows. That's right, none. My windows are down more than enough to justify my never ever getting window tint. Why leave the contents of your vehicle to the imagination of a thief? Let them see, in all its glory, the lack of theft-worthy items in your vehicle. All they'll see is that I keep my carpets clean.
3. Park in areas with a lot of people nearby. Crooked people hate attention. A thief breaking into a shiny silver sports car will definitely get some attention when the alarm goes off and he doesn't know how to turn it off.

With mine, the range isn't cut in half when you go into a building. Of course, mine isn't a stock alarm. Its an after market. I think crime stoppers or something like that. It works great.
