I imagine it would do more harm than good. It's probably not going to turn fast enough to speed up the airflow going into the intake. Also, I'm sure it's nothing more than a DC fan in a fancy housing. The blades that make up the part will most likely restrict the airflow negating any positive effects that it may give.

Those are complete rip offs, all they are, are fans for bathrooms in boats u can get them at any marine store for about 20 bucks. You would see little difference if any at all.

I could make the same thing with my mom's hair dryer. You buy that I will flame you so bad!

Dont ever buy it...they are a cheap peice of crap...I have never bought it, but from what others tell me...dont even look at it.

yea dont fall for it the idea kinda makes sense but they dont push out enough air to really make a difference

Yes they will make a difference, they will slow down the airflow into the engine making less power. I bet the engine can suck in more air than that thing can push in.

I'm sure that people don't realize the volume of air that it takes to actually overcome the vacuum and put a positive pressure on the motor. A little electric fan isn't going to come near that amount of volume..

It also seems like it would cause some problems...

excatly and the idea makes sense but to move the amount of air u would need a really powerful fan and it would probably be huge

leaf blowers do- i've seen it. dyno proven as a matter of fact

might as well hook up a long tube and run it up next to your seat so you can blow in the tube.

i hooked up a leaf blower to my stock intake back in the day to clean out my engine when my rear end was broken. i would just sit there at like 2300 rpm for like 10 minutes and than my car didn't smoke anymore until i idled it a lot more lol. so they do do something
