I think its just because they are user friendly and easy to work on, swapping the engine is a matter of hours, 2, 3 tops. Engine harness is pretty straight forward, only complaint maybe would be having to pop the balljoints to get the half-shafts out. They are simple and straight forward, and that means easy to fix and upgrade, I think thats why people use civics. :smilie_da

Civics do not suck. with a Type R motor swapped in, they are good fast. just ike anyother car, with money, anythign is possible.

exactly, a fast car is not determined by the base vehicle alone, its the size of the owners wallet. Theres nothing wrong with civics.
