Who all is going to see it tonight or over the weekend? I know I am the movie from what I hear so far is pretty dam good and has been getting good reviews. Plus whats cooler then a monster attacking new york city??

Its an JJ Abrams film, it cant be 'bad'. I'll see it if weather permits this weekend.

I highly doubt I'll ever see it until it comes out on TV. Just doesn't look intresting to me at all.

I really like movies of the US getting destroyed, and I dont know why. Its entertaining. I probably wont see it this weekend, but I may see it at some point. Looks pretty good, they did a good job advertisting.

I talked to 2 people today who said it completely sucked. They said they got sick from the camera movement, and that was the biggest deal. I just turned around and called them pussies :). Hoping to see it Sunday, but not too sure.

It was shot from someones point of view.....they probably didnt know that when they went to see it. Thats one of the "different" things about this movie.

My daughter and I went to see it this afternoon and 51 minutes into the movie we got up and walked out cause it was making her sick. Me, it just pissed me off. They ruined what could have been a decent sci fi movie. The camera was in and out of focus and sometimes it moved so fast everything was blurred. If the picture wasn't half sideways or some other angle, it was upside down. I thought it just sucked big time. The only highlight were the two previews...one for Iron Man and the other for Star Trek coming Christmas 2008. We love Star Trek!!

They knew it was a POV film. They saw the blair witch project and liked it, but said this was too much. Seems this is getting some bad reviews, maybe I'll wait for DVD then. Someone wanna PM me some info on the monster though?

You only get a good view of the monster towards the ending of the movie. Like 5 minutes before it ends.........

Everyone I talked to enjoyed it. It seems you guys went in expecting to see the monster ALL the time. This movie is not Godzilla....its shot to show you from 1 persons camera view so no you wont see the monster ALL the time.

I heard reviews, and I still want to see it. I like movies off the ordinary. Its somthing other thatn EVERY other movie, so Ill hopefulyl see it dons.

I think it looks like an allright movie, Yea the camera moving might get to me but thats just an excuse to be drunk while watching it.
