COD4 Tonight?
Anyone else bored with COD 4 already? I play online but it's just the same thing over and over again. You just try to kill as many people as you can without getting killed yourself. I know there are different "games" in it but it all comes down to that.
I played today and for the first time actually did quite well ranking either 1st or 2nd on all the games I played but it's just not that exciting anymore.
I'm thinking I'm just getting bored with these games, I mean they are all the exact same thing. I'm going to start getting more RPG and see if those can keep my intrest. Honestly I don't care for games I can beat quickly. Ideally I would want something that would take me months and months to beat because there's so much to do and you get immersed(sp) into the story. Hopefully Oblivion will do that for me and if it does I can buy the expansions so I can keep playing. Then I'll pick up BioShock after that.

Grand theft auto, I know you said your not into that. But it is a fun and long/challenging game. It took me a few months to beat the gta games where as it took me 2-3 days to beat COD 4.
I don't want a game full of profanity and I won't buy one that has a ton of it in the game.
On a side note I will still play COD form time to time and I still think it would be a ton of fun if we have all of us on one team. One thing I always hated about the online play is that even if you're on a team it's always every man for himself. Why is it so hard for people to get the concept of working together?

As for the working together, I think it's because everyone thinks their way of winning is better then the others.
Since this has turned into a general XBox 360 gaming thread I thought I'd go ahead and post up a picture of my Camaro.
I don't have the time to spend three hours on one design like others so I just tried to make it look like my car. I also added the berger rear panel and made a Wisconsin rear plate for it.

Forza doesnt keep my attention long, racing games in general get boring to me....i hate driving around a track over and over haha. But every now and then its fun to play I just bought a SS actually its SOM of course.
As far as COD4 MP....my friends were saying the same...IMO Halo3 MP is much more fun then COD4MP the game in general is better to me...COD4 isnt much different MP wise then the last 3.

Halo has won awards for worst game of the year, and biggest letdown. One review I saw said they have dumbed it down so much it's almost unplayable by an experienced gamer (it's supposed to be available for PC but I haven't seen it)

As far as COD vs Halo: COD is MUCH better. Halo 3's game play is EXACTLY like the previous games. I became bored with Halo much faster than I did with COD.

I don't think I'll get tired of COD4 for a long time... but thats because me, my jews, stobin, and phate go and dominate people who talk ****. Haha... Speaking of, I'll be able to play tonight and tomorrow. Forza as well but my saved game got erased.

Rep Power: 1088 I agree, COD4 is >>>>>> than Halo3. Halo was boring as hell to me, with a ****** ****** storyline, and the online play was terribly repetative and boring. I like COD4 because of the 'leveling' system and Prestige mode. I cant wait for level 49 and the Barrett .50cal.

I dont get bored of games that much... I just get tired of the LIVE servers sucking so much. My problem is that I buy too many games at the same time so I go back and fourth between them all until I beat them.
If we get enough people we can just make our own private match of 3 on 3 or somthing.

That's my problem too, I see a couple games that I know I'll like so I go and pick them all up and then bounce from game to game until they are all beaten.
I guess I'm lucky, I only had problems in early Jan. and those problems were limited at best. Since then I have had great success with live.
