Custom plates??
 

Hey, so i recently picked up some custom plates for a new car im getting(LV2EXLR8). And after waiting 5 weeks i got a letter in the mail saying my option was inappropriate? and i would be mailed a refund (8-10 weeks wait time for the refund of course)

Just curious if anyone else has had a problem like this? ive seen some plates around ALOT worse then this and i dont have a clue why? any way i can talk to someone and debate this? i went to my local MTO to discuss but they said they are just contracted by some agency or something and cant do anything for me but process them

I tried to get LUV2XLR8 but it was taken? think maybe there cracking down cause of the new street racing legislation and such?. pretty dumb.

I had FAST TSI as my plate and I know a guy with wna fly

and if that isnt prevoking a race i dont know what is. lol...

I know a guy with a plate LOCO MF . I think MF,er is worse then 2ex.
The saddest plate I,ve seen is on a customers 4 dr grey civic. It basically says hondanation . On a grey 4 dr ....sad..77.

Yeah its definitly love to accelerate. Its going on a modified R32 GTR. Ive found a few numbers to contact, but after being on hold for over and hour at a time on 3 occasions i have yet to talk to anyone and gave up...

Guess ill just wait for the refund and send it back trough and see if i can get it.

well they are starting to crack down on plates that emphasize or endorse streetracing... There was an article not so far back about an old church lady that had something on her plate and had to get it removed... Check mississauganews.ca

I got 4U2 LUZ2 on my car

I kept reading about this issue in the local papers a few weeks back. It's outrageous that they ban certain plates when others are even worse!

I just ordered (well... a few weeks ago I'm actually expecting them to arrive the end of the month hopefully *fingers crossed*) "REKLESS". The lady at the MTO was surprised it was allowed.
*Rekless doesn't imply that I drive recklessly it was for two reasons:
a) my horses show name is Rekless Intentions. Rekless Intentions shortened looked like a cluster ****
b) as well as the decals and tail light I have I'm trying to further promote an american car club to bring it up here. Reklessracing.net <-- check it out!!

I'm pretty excited to get them though. I'll post pics when they arrive. They were ordered the thursday after xmas though and they said it could take 6-9 weeks (boooooo)

When personalized plates were new, I saw a Blonde in a 'vette with the plate 'YES 500'

Some states have on line checks other states you have to check their computer at the local BMV branch. Remember there are limitation to what you can have.
