thats for sure.. and besides, this restrictor plate racing is way harder to begin with..
could you imagine going to an f1 race live..
Hey a car... then a waiting period.... hey another car... another waiting period.. then you find out there was a wreck no where near you.. tat would bore me
to watch F1, you need to watch it on tv..

Has anyone been watching the qualifying for the 500..
I guess tire wear is becoming a big deal this year.. tires falling apart all the time.
And what do you think of the new pit speed limit???

R/T kota 02-18-2005 06:10 PM

Tires have been a big problem in practice.
Goodyear replaced about 600 tires so they do know there is a problem.
Have to see what hapenes in the truck race tonight. That will give a beter look at how far they can go on sunday.

Did not know they changed pit speed.

IROC race is just starting. gota go.

midrange 02-18-2005 06:43 PM

its still 55 mph but how they have it piloned to be at that speed.. getting tough to make sure your at the right speed.. n oroom for error

I may have to take that comment back. I though he was part of the pile up in the 125 earlier in the week but it was Rusty Wallace...

General 02-20-2005 09:32 PM

the races was ok... i watched the last ten laps.. when everyhting important happened

midrange 02-20-2005 09:36 PM

yeah, that was the most exciting part.. but i was mad  , why Jeff Gordon.. WHY :smilie_da It seemed like every 10 laps they went to yellow for debris on the track..

General 02-20-2005 09:48 PM

ya.. at least the restart.. so you dont lose any laps

MontrealIntegra 02-21-2005 04:10 PM

Man it was so close, I really thought jr. was going to do it, being that he kept clear of trouble during the race and pulled all the stops at the end if only for Busch I think jr would have taken it.(Busch killed his momentum)
Great race all and all, can't wait for neek week

en A NASCAR is back :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :3gears: :3gears: :3gears:

midrange 02-21-2005 04:33 PM

yeah.. on the restart Jr had no one there to help him.. it sucked. but he did well to make that comeback.. and yup, can't wait for sunday too!!! :thumbsup

MontrealIntegra 02-21-2005 04:53 PM

Man the race was good, ya know had it's ups and downs but when jr came up like that near the end WOW I was on the edge of the seat till the end of the race, it was awsome.

And yes I think he did great, being that for a good part of the race jr didn't even like the car but managed to get things together right when it mattered.
What are your thoughts on the New Crew chief he is working with?
