Desktop or Laptop?
 

What do you prefer to use? I had my desktop for a while and enjoyed it, but I wanted to get a laptop (school being in mind heh) So for my birthday my mom got me a laptop. The downside to that was my dad took my desktop since his was like 15 years old. I was ok with it at first but now I miss having the desktop to use :(. The laptop has its upsides since I can take it to school but when it comes to being at home I really prefer to have a desktop to use...for games and such and doing photo editing I find much easier on the desktop...and I miss Windows XP. What do you all prefer to use?

I prefer desktops myself. The only good thing to a laptop is that it's portable.

Yeah, I meant to get one myself so I would have both but mom bought it for me with the suprise my dad would take my desktop. I was ok with it at first now I miss having my own desktop :( lol

I kind of like the laptop cuz it's a space saver. Plus, i can do whatever I did with my desktop with my laptop with the external mouse and whatnot.

I love my desktop, I used a laptop while my computer was down, and it was a pain, I couldn't run my flight simulator on it, and I have a tv tuner in my desktop, the laptop ones suck

I couldnt go a single day without either.

I have both... Both for their own uses. I only use the laptop if my pc is down for whatever reason, schoolwork, and internet. Thats it. Im not even going to try to put games or intensive programs on it becuase its pointless, thats what I use the desktop for. I use the desktop far more though.

I have a desk top , but I really want a laptop so I can lay in bed and go on the computer at the same time.

i quit using a desktop, its been so long since I've used mine, Im thinking about totaly stripping it down to almost no programs or anything on it and keep it faster running for my dad. I use my laptop foreverything now, I just need to upgrade my Ram as it only has 504MB...weak sauce, ill prob get 1 gig and call it good, should help with DL speed and playback speed on vids and ect. yea chilling out in my room at night before I pass out with the laptop is way better then passing out on the keyboard of my desktop and no dont be getting funny idears... After a long day of work its easier to chill and relax with the wireless Interweb :P


the stupidest thing on my laptop is the damn USB connections is on the left side for the mouse and accessories and the power cable plug in is on the right side, why couldnt they have swapped the two...pisses me off lol

I like desktop PCs if I'm looking to create the ultimate gaming rig.

However, I have an ultimate gaming rig in my laptop, so the point is moot. I prefer laptops overall.

I prefer laptops, Just for the sole reason that I move a lotand have to travel around for schools and such.

Do you watch 'The king of Queens'?

I do, but I haven't seen it in a while, been too busy with work and school.
