Okay, I need some real Advice.

I coming home from the dragstrip tonight. and onmy way home, I see my cousins car in the ditch with the headlights on, I was freaked out. So I pulled up behind his car in the ditch, I was about 20 feet behind it. I jumped out of my car. And I heared his GirlFriend Screaming bloody murder, he was kicking her *** in the ditch. I came along side the car asking WTF. and he was like help us help us, get us out of here. My first thought was to get her home. So I was trying to get her in my car, she couldnt move and i wasnt about to drag her. well anyway this whole thing lasted 10 minutes.


My car overheated and blew the lower hose off, I was screaming F*** over and over, well I left them both and drove Home. 7-10 minutes... Do you think I Screwed up my engine?

put a new hose on it. see if it runs. theres a good possibility but if it still runs and doesn't overheat then its all good probably

if it made it home w/o locking up it may be ok still, never run your car while its over heating man

I agree with what the others have said thus far.


Am I the only one that has no idea what the rest of the post was about? All I got was your cousin was beating up his gf, she's screaming, he's asking for help, then you leave.

should be okay check all fluids though and WHAT happened in the ditch?

may be ok, but there is a very good chance you hurt it some, there is alot of aluminum that got real hot there. Put it back together and see how it runs watch the temp close (if you have a scan tool use it instead of the gauge)

Yeah I agree w/ the previous advice given, but....I'm with Chad WTF was going on in the ditch. If I pulled up and saw my cousin hittiing a girl, I would've beat his *** all over the place. That's one of two things I can't ****** stand...guys that beat women and guys that hurt small children.

You shoulda beat his *** if he was hittin her. Family or not, I kicked the living **** out of my cousin about 2 years ago for hitting his gf, He got over it.

Yea throw a new hose on there and check it out. You definatly could have done some major damage though.

Maybe he was asking for help moving her so he wouldn't get in trouble for beating on her??? IDK, but for real family or not, I don't care if it's a random guy...it's not a good idea to put your hands on a girl around me. That **** flies all over me the wrong way, and somebody will wind up ****** up! You don't EVER hit a girl...EVER.

I think he was fking with us...not a funny joke if u are, cause thats messed up to watch some one beat a girl and pull her out of the ditch...unless u mean a car out of the ditch...wtf man

idk i hope we are missunderstanding his post but we would need to hear the rest of the story to know

Okay. From the Top.

I am Coming home from the Drag strip. I see a car in the ditch i get closer and notice its my cousin and his Girl Friend. I stopped and jumped out of my car. I went to her, and it looked like she tried to run, but he caught up with her and took her down. my cousin was just getting up, trying to convince me that he wasnt beating her and he was trying to get the car out of the ditch. They are both Drunk. And he (thats right HE) is High as high. and I like them both. I tried to get her in my car without him noticing.. so I swapped back and forth trying to "help" him, I was sure if he noticed i was helping her he'd come after me and my car. However she needed her cell phone that was in the car. I told her to **** the phone and get in my car.. I was begging her. but it didnt work.. and then My car was making this Chugging noise. and all of a sudden PUCKSSHHHHHHHHHH Steam everywhere I felt it burn my arm. I was closest, my cousin was pretty damn close him self. I'm sure that Sobered him and her both really quick. I Freaked out, he was being a dick and she wasnt Cooperating very well.. I saw the people across the street call 911. they were in the window. anyway, I kinda yelled like 6 times. "I gotta GO" each time In totally diffrent tones.

Okay, I get to her mothers house and shut my car off, (1500ft away from my house" I knock on the door and ring the door bell... 8-10 minutes later I figured my parents could get ahold of someone. I went to start my car and it cranked Slow as hell... I waited a few minutes got it running, Flew home and told my parents. I was kinda calm. its 1030PM and theres people around for my brothers wedding which is soon today. Dad knows my cousin.. kinda works with us during the week. they went out and said they saw where i blew the hose. and didnt see any body near there. so they went around and an Ambulance passed them going at least 80 in a 35 on a back road.

they kinda followed it about 1/8 mile to see 9 cop cars. the girlfriend. and the car over a bank. dad pulled up next to her near the ambulance and asked her if she was okay. she said not really. and a cop came over and told my parents to get the hell out of there. I Havent spoke to anyone. My cousin was seen running through a feild last night.

anyway thats all Ive got as of now. and I'll post a scan of whats in the News paper. I think its gonna be in tomarrows.

Sounds pretty weird man, Sounds like a ****** up situation for what I got out of it. Basicly just sounds like they were trying to get out of there and you were trying to help them. Not a good thing, Assisting them flee the scene of an accident would have bit you on the *** if you would have been caught.
