Why doesnt anybody put a 4.3 V-6 in there.. it will still look somewhat stock.. V-8 would be way to heavy for that thing. By the sounds of it, those things will be around for quite awhile.

I just did some quick research and it seems like the Northstar is the V8 of choice for the conversion. I actually think that's probably a pretty good engine for it, sure you won't make tons of power but you'll get that low end grunt and the sound of the DOHC's would sound really good in a Delorean.

because the top rated 4.3 made under 200hp. I got to paint one when I was in body school (stolen recovery, and every panel was damaged we weren't about to try and replace them all)
