Dodge ram.. who to ask?
 

Um we have one of those town celebrations and my dad wants to get rid of his 1999 dodge ram pickup 4X4, its a ext cab, has a rack and bed cap, plow comes with it, needs some frront end work, blinker and skirt around bumber nothing else is wrong with the truck, it has a 318 in it, V8 Magnum, automatic, A/c has rencently new tires on it, and wants 6500 or best offer. is he going to get any offers? i am not sure but i have to go and wash and wax it.. he paid 14,000 for it three years ago i believe. i know this has nothing to do with f-bodys, but was wondering if anyone here would buy it. if they had the chance.. the truck is located in andover, Maine, i think i would get banned if i started talking to a certain person for selling the truck here so pm me if you really want the truck. i guess, ive neve done this before..

Anyway could anyone get 6500 for this truck?

shouldn't be a problem looks like the truck is worth around $7000 without the plow (the plow technically lowers value since it destroys the suspension on any truck)

Hope he sells it but I won't buy it (I hate trucks).

if it was around me, I would buy it for that price. You should get some offers.

I refuse to even look at any Dodge truck for purchase.

I'd look at them before ford and some chevy's, the trans is junk, but can be upgraded, teh ford had a few issues, and chevy had frame issues

The fact Dodge doesn't use a traditional fuel filter bugs me. The sock in the tank works good for the pump but doesn't filter down small enough for the injectors. Also it is very hard to get some after-market parts for Chrysler vehicles.

yea the fuel filter is quite scary, we had to buy a whole new sending unit...

the first place I'd look(and will look later on) to buy a truck is Dodge. I've been after my dad to sell me his forever.

there wasnt as many people at the andover celebration thing, so we didnt get any offers so dad is going to put the truckin the Uncle henrys doesnt anyome know what that is? its a book that cost $1.50 and loaded with ads from free stuff to cars to junk and trade it has 300 pages every week.. so we are going to try that..
