donations...

there is a guy over on camaroz28.com that has had a family tragedy, and his brother is in serious conditiong with spinal injuries. he is asking for small donations. i myself am donating some money to him and would like to see lot of other do so. at first i read about this and felt bad for them but had no ideas of actually donating but as i thought more, i realized how much a small amount of money could help someone in their situation. if anyone can give anything, im sure him and his family would appreciate it. heres a link to the thread and in this thread there is a link to the whole story.

Not to sound mean or uncaring but he got drunk on his own. Everyone know's the effects of alcohol. When I was little my parents, my two older brothers and myself were driving down the road when a drunk came around the corner and slammed head on into our car. My mom was bleading around her foreheard from hitting the windshield, I was just a baby but my car seat came undone and hit the seat in front of me and my brother's both have scars from the seatbelts. Worst part was the cops let him go, they told us he was drunk and they knew it but legally they couldn't prove it. We were just lucky we were all wearing our seatbelt's even though it wasn't state law then. So when something happens to a drunk I don't feel bad at all, they get what they deserve. I'd rather they hurt themselves and not kill some innocent family trying to get home. I do feel bad for his family for having to take on all the debt but they should have said something if he was going out and drinking.

Mike Jones 08-02-2005 10:00 PM

Read sad story I do feel for the family but again it was his choice to drink.

McGruff 08-03-2005 10:58 AM

insurance covers all the **** that they said didn't.. So if they are collecting donations I would hope they are doing it for a lawyer and not a wheel chair...

RFF 08-03-2005 03:32 PM

Same thing I was wondering, why wouldn't his insurance cover the accident?
