Just thought I'd share this, I'm pretty excited about it.....(lame, I know).

So, I was searching through eBay the other day like I always do, and I come across a guy selling a car cover for a Camaro. I've been looking for one since my car sits outside ALL day & night, and when I looked at the pics for this auction, it looked like it might be the one that SLP made for the SS (which run around $150 new). I look at the price - $10 buy it now! I'm not sure if the guy made a mistake on the auction or what, but I clicked to buy it. So, add $10 for shipping - $20 for any car cover is a good price.

I got it in the mail today, and lo' and behold, its the SLP one. Came with the custom SS carrying bag, line lock thingy and all. Now I can wash my car and not have bird sh*t on it the very next day! :D

Car covers are a paints worst enemy.

No, car bras are a paint's worse enemy. Car covers are fine as long as you dont cheep out and get the $30 ones from Pepboys.

No, any car cover that fits tight hurts the paint.

only if the wind blows at about 70 mph good car covers are extremely soft inside

I just put it on tonight, fits the car like a glove. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact I have to remove my antenna. I hope it doesn't hurt the paint, it seemed pretty soft on the inside.....guess we'll see.

This is the guy's eBay username - marshalloffire, but from what I gathered on the item description, he was just selling the cover that came with his SS, I doubt he has any more (especially @ $10, heh).

Found a cover for 10 beans, never heard of this brand though

doing a quick google search I come up with sun shades from the company and they look like the silver carboard ones so can't imagine the cover is of any quality, may be good for indoor storage but I wouldn't use it outside
