Parents so far up your @$$ you cant breathe?

Pfft I cannot Go anywhere but school... Come home sit on my ***.. all 24/7.. So theres a Big Pizza Hut Drag Racing Meet.. I drag raced all summer.. the only thing i got to do.. didnt see any of my friends that much.. Once and a while I'd see them at the track.. But anyway, i told them about the Pizza Hut thing and they were fine about it till tonite (the Night of the meet) As I am about to head out the door i tell them where i was going and what time i would be back.. and that id call them when i was leaving Pizza Hut.. they ask, What are you taking? I was like The s-10 (that i payed for..) and my Mother says, No, take dad's truck.. and i asked, whats wrong with mine? she said, Well If a tail light goes out or something you'll get pulled over.. so take dads truck.. (which has a tail light out.. the lower left lower one 2005 chevy)

I cannot Get a job.. Why I have no idea. im 18... They wont let me.. I want to buy stuff for my car..... and i cant.. I just barely afford gas from little odd jobs.. Mostly Bottle Runs...

However my older brother when he was 13 he went everywhere and still does.. hes 21 now... But I have never been able to hang out with friends..... besides school and dragstrip..

My little sister.. shes 9.. Mom Im going to the movies with whoever it happens to be.. she ends up going.. and gets to sleep over other peoples houses.. However I never even got to hang out with friends let alone sleeping over...

Heres what really gets me, Drag Racers Meet the first and last one ive been to.. October 2006.. The winners of Bracket Racing recieve a $10 thing to pizza hut.. so i got one.. I went in 2006.. and of course the whole family had to come.. and we all through our $10 Cards in and we had too many for the bill we had.. so i ended up getting mine back.. they gave it to me.. i didnt ask for it..

Its like i cant go anywhere without mom and dad...

I'd say 75% of the summer drag racing my parents had came.. older brother who was 20.. he went off did his thing.. little sister, she was always at someones house...

We Just built the house we live in now.. took 2 yrs weekends and after school for me, and all summer.. Me and dad built it.. nobody else was around my older brother lives in the basement.. hed sit on the computer while me and dad were killing our selves out side... Did i get paid? No, it was expected of me... and of course i wasnt a dink while helping, I helped to get it done..

and when the house was done... I had time to get firewood by myself.. mom and dad payed for it.. full legnth.. out in a logging yard.. so i cut it up, loaded it up (Pickup truck and trailer) Unloaded and split it all... yup thats what i did.. and i ended up stacking over half of it... yea..

My life seems as if its on auto pilot....

Wow dude, that sux, that sux B@D. Good luck in getting all of this strightend out with the rents and getting them to give you a little more freedom.

Uhm your parents seem like tools. I'd just do what you want to do Since you said your 18 thats pretty lame that they still do that crap. Join the army.. army strong hooah

do what u want otherwise..... id say you just said something earlier in your life. like when you were in the begining of your highschool career. tell them you wanna go to a family counselor and see what they think. tell them why u feel this way like u just told us. otherwise good luk man.

everyone says "do what you want but i know how you feel" my dads a real tightass when it comes to that too, he has to know everythingpisses me off alot to, alot recently because my gf's parents are really into the whole your 18 you can do whatever . but if he doesnt want me to have a job then he better feed me moeny when i want it.

I would just get a job and if they ask why just be like i need to be a little more independent or some **** because you arent gonig to be there forever

Yea do what you need 2 want to but dont be extreme, get in alotta bad stuff if u do it extreme heh

You're 18, get a job, you don't need their permission.
Then get a place to live. Maybe set something up with frriends before getting the job. live in their closet, pay minimal rent, until you'r on your feet.

i know folks who lived in a tent, showered at a gym while in transition.

Maybe when you're on your own your parents will wake up.

I was the oldest, turned 18 in bootcamp. suddenly they were begging me to come visit them.

yay i turn 18 this summer and still have one year of high-school and no i never got held back

I could do anything I want, whatever age I was.. Parents trusted me that I would make the right decisions..

Well my parents do the same to all my siblings.. But then theres me.. all Locked up.. But Im looking at getting a job in afew weeks.. take the money and blow it on the camaro and then save the rest after that.. give myself like $40 bucks a week.. and when i see 6-7,000 in the bank i can say.. what ever is on my mind then...

I just dont want to try to jump and fall, if you know what i mean.. Things come up and change for good and bad.. So time will tell..

i would talk to your parents about it if you can, i know i can't to my dad about anything with out flipping his lid. so if thats the case then i don't know. do what you want, and if they get pissed, you're going to have to take it
