Feedback Request: racerrice21

Has anyone here, or anyone you know dealt with this eBay seller? He has Camaro Seat Covers for a pretty good price, and I wonder about the quaility and fit. I e-mailed a previous customer, but he said that he had yet to install them on his car because it was in the shop.....

i just ask some one who bought the covers and this is what they said

Dear sk8erdude2005,

well to tell you the truth i havnt put them on yet on the count that it is raining. but looking at them i can tell that they were mad for the camaro's high and slim seats. and the color is a better match to a camaros color then what i could find at any store, and they look like they will fit nicely. and what is nice is that it has the covors for the back seat as well, those are hard to find. there are some problems though... i wish they were a little better quality and the bottem half of the back seat is not split into two different seats, but i am asking the seller about that. also you will have to pu holes for the seat beld pully braket like all seat covers. a plus is the fact that the seats have the corvette logo on them. i will get back to you with more info soon.

I (finally) got a couple of replies, too, with pictures of the seat covers. Thay quality is about average, but the fit looks atrocious, especially the back seat. All the back seat cover basically is is a bench seat cover. Looks really bad. I'll post some pics in a minute... I also have another buyer sending me more pics in a couple of days....

seat covers never fit good, and they are rarely high quality. i would never get seat covers like that, if you want a new look, get some new seats or take yours to a shop and have them recover them how u want. then u can actually choose whatever pattern/design you want. gonna be more expensive but the difference will be huge.

if you want that type go to wal-mart same stuff, there are good covers made (katskin for example) but they are not cheap by any means

1. nothing at all wrong with neoprene. If i got the really good seat covers from Cover King, that's what I'd be getting...

2. universal seat covers never fit, but those are supposed to be custom to the car...I absolutely do not have the cash do go and have them redone. See answer below. Also buying new seats, is too expensive, and I don't want the stock seat's color(unless black). Don't like them. I also have to fix the damage done in the parking lot this year.

3. I really need seat covers. Really, really need. But I do not have $400 to drop on CoverKing's seat covers, and won't for years. I only make like $800 a month, and most of that goes to bills.

4. Don't like leather seats.

5. Those seat covers in that link are the ones miessenation had, and he seemed to like them a lot.

Don't worry I don't plan on buying those. I really want Ryan to make me my seat covers, but he's too busy he says. So if I wait for him, I'll be waiting for years.
