Cayuga. Pretty good turnout, I forgot my camera, but I've got a scanner, so here's my slips. Not bad for shitty tires, stock suspension, and no tune at all.

Thanks, didn't know anyone, that's why I posted the pic of my car, hoping someone would approach me. I've got another slip, but it was a 16.8, I missed 3rd.

I was out tonight... no traction and lots of lag between shifts... I need to ditch the 2 1/4 crush bent exhaust and stock cat

I expected to run 17's. But, the first run I did, I was watching my speedo, as I was nearing the line, and I was reaching 6000 in third, which is 140 km/h, and I was thinking, that's almost 85mp/h. WTF. Like I said, those tires are . I had no traction off the line, as you can see, with 2.3 sec 60 foots. I'd love to see what this car can do with just springs, and a tire.:smilie_da

There were a couple VW's there, what were you driving?

judgez24 05-12-2007 07:52 AM

right on man, now time for some spray and some breathing mods and your all set. i think your first mod should be a set of racing strips. i know theyre a little in yo face foo but they add big power. next mod should be weight reduction. who needs a passanger seat and carpet anyways right? ditch the tail lights and headlights and cover the holes with 200 mph tape (duct tape), also all the seems you see, hood to fender, fender to door etc, tape them up too, aerodynamics plays a huge factor in all of this. get a couple of spare and run them on the back. for the rfont wheels carefully drill holes in the spokes to cut down on weight. fluids, washer fluid isnt needed neither is coolant, and if you wanna be a cool cat like the honda kids run no oil, no filter and no oil pan as they all add weight. lastly get yourself a ractive high flow air filter and your in the money. 14.9 all over that

LMAO, um, no. This is what it looks like now.

This is what I'm hoping it will look like in the fall.

Only mods, I'm thinking about just using a K and N filter, since the car already has a cold air setup, then header, and exhaust, but it has to be quiet. Suspension, and tires, and wheels, then maybe turboed SER motor, and 6 speed next year.

There was a 300C there last night with neon. :retard: He actually raced with it on once. There was a kid there with Mommy's 2005 Altima 2.5S auto, it ran like 16.5's. Completely stock.

drift_n_shift 05-12-2007 01:51 PM

oh , that altima is sickkkkkkkkkkk

I'm guessing you mean the pic I got from Ebay. Yeah, that's basically exactly what I want mine to look like when I'm done, without the window visors, and sunroof visor. I've ordered the eyelids already, and I'm looking for some 18" 5 spoke wheels, in a 5x114.3 pattern. I don't care about the surface condition, as long as they're straight, with no curbage, I'm just going to polish them anyway. :smilie_da

i was expecting half sec slower than what u ran.
jus trade it in for a 3.5, with bolt ons & tune, ull touch mid 13s

I was expecting a full second slower than what I ran. :dunno: The tires I've got are the ****ing worst ever. Hercules all season, I had to start the car from stop lights in 3rd on snow. I'm doing my best to make sure they're bald before the fall. :smilie_da Then, it's new Blizzaks for next winter.
Plus, I like the mileage I get from the 2.5.

hey rabbit man the altimas run a mafs don't they? If so i would not recommend running the K&n as they do write off mafs! If you do i would keep an eye on the mafs and make sure its always clean and no k&N oil building up on it or small fuzz. I have seen this happen to a number of cars running a mafs. I would try a different filter style like a foam one as it is less likely to happen and do not oil it.
