Fun Free URBAN GAMES in Toronto on November 5, 2006 at 5pm
 

Games of S.P.U.D. and Blitz Ball will be played in an urban setting (field/parking lot/etc..) in the Toronto core on November 5, 2006 starting at 5pm and are free to participate in. There is a cap of 100 players and we ask that you at least be 19 years old, and there is still lots of room for ppl to join in (it will be posted on the URBAN GAMES web page when the event is full). Let it be known that these are NOT your ordinary types of games, they are modified versions of regular games or crazy new fukked up concoctions, but are fun as hell.

These are freaky fun games that will be played in either a sports field or in an enclosed ashphalt top, if it looks like it will rain that day, then the event will be held in a gymnasium/ roofed multilevel underground empty parking lot. Afterwards we will be going to a local restaurant/bar type place for food, drinks, and post game conversations (maybe even showing some pics/video of the games). Come dressed appropriatly for the temperatures. You will get an e-mail 48 hours before game time telling you where the location is, but only for those who sign up.

There are lots more different games already planned out up until March of 2007.

The games will be played at the north west corner of Lowther Av + St. George (2 streets north of Bloor) at the First Church Christ Scientist back parking lot. The weather is looking good, but IF it looks like it will rain that day, we will be playing at the Adult Learning Center located on the south side of Danforth immediatly west of Broadview right next to the on ramp to the DVP (Don Valley Parkway highway) in the multilevel parking lot.
