Getting rid of the spyware adware from special sites
These are free and work amazing.
Since someone mentioned about spyware and other crap on a thread i made i would add this to help everyone.
I got some crap on my computer awhile ago forcing a search page and had to use these programs to get rid of it.
Since it is mainly on special pages i thought it best to add it in this forum as it is where we see crap.
This one stops your computer from being hijacked

This one finds and destroys any alreayd on your computer.

Microsoft Beta spyware is pretty good too and doesn't eat a lot of resources..
Adaware SE IMO is useless..
spysweeper is good too but you only get 30 day trial

These are all that you need to get rid of spy ware.
For a Firewall Zonealrm suites with their built in antivirus. It uses less resources then McAffe and Norton. It actually catches more then both of them.
For your ram, I would recommend memturbo to help freeing up you memory speeds.

I think webroot already broke that up.. I tried that before along with using a patch exe file.. and none of them works.. tried it on 3 different computers.. all not networked.. on different ISP.. all basically crashed the same time.. tried hackin and all and none works anymore..
I find as mentioned that zone alarm will block most of it.. norton 2k5 for worm protection is a safe bet..
I run now Microsoft beta sweeper
Spybot 1.3 Tx
adware SE * once in a while *
with
Norton 2k5
AVG 7 Pro
and Escan

Spybot patch.. but if you're windows xp is up to date.. you may not need it

I never mentinoed anything about spykiller, i think you quoted the wrong person bud.
I have no clue about that program, i only mentioned spyware blaster and spybot search and destroy.
