Good Camera's?

Okay, so I have this way shitty Samsung camera right now, and I'm looking to get something that takes better pictures. It takes them fine in the day, but when I take night pictures or when the light isn't that great, it takes me like 20 tries to get something that looks good. Some people recommended Canon and Nikon, so I've been looking at those. Anyone have any recommendations?

Price is not much of an issue, as long as it isn't some $1500 model. It needs to have optical zoom of something equal or greater to 3x. And atleast 3.5MP

I have like the cheapest model of FujiFilm available and I'm very happy with it. I'm not very knowledgeable on their higher-up models, but I'm happy with what I got. Might be worth looking into.

nikon and canon are very good, here are some that might intrest you:

Nikon Coolpix 8700

Nikon Coolpix 5200

Canon SLR 6.3Mp
Canon Powershot Pro1

of course you can probably find them cheaper elsewhere.

I have the Sony DSC-P93. These we taken without a flash. It usually takes good pictures just depends on how steady i hold it.

This is what it looks like with the flash. Didn't give me the night effect so I don't use it much.
