Got hit today in a parking lot... again...
 

Same results as the first one, I can not believe that this happened again. I work at our photo studio in the morning where they do the pictures for the kmart ads, and we didn't have one of the items that we needed for a shoot, so I had to go to KMart to buy it. I had to go to two to find the product I needed, but both times I had pulled through one spot to park in the one infront of it (so the nose of my car was facing the lane and I wouldn't have to back out). I didn't notice anything both times because I was walking towards the driver's side. When I left the photo studio to go to the main office, I noticed a smudge on my front fender... but I figured I had missed a spot yesterday when I wiped the rain off my car. So I got in my car, drove to the main office, and then got the microfiber out to wipe it off, and as soon as I got around to the passenger side I knew it got hit because I could see the scratches. :banghead: I'm so pissed. If I would've seen who did it, I would've ****** their car up big time. So now the spot infront of my passenger side front wheel matches my rear bumper where the girl backed into it. :mad: :banghead:

Unfortunately, it won't buff out... (obviously, too) There's a lot of hazing that you can't see in the pics... if you look close at the 2nd pic there's some of it visible to the top left of the wheel reflection and below the wheel. I'm pretty sure I can rub the hazing out tho... but the nice black line won't. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

because he was parked illegaly (in any state without front plates you are not allowed to pull through) and whent eh other person backed out the turned too soon (another reason not to park backward they can't see the car as well)

You say it as if no one parks that way, Steve, and as if it's my fault it happened. :mad: Regardless of it being illegal, it's not uncommon for people to park the way I did, and that law is not enforced in the slightest. I'm thinking either it was a cart or someone went to turn into the spot and scraped with their nose thinking they could make it when they turned in. It would've happened regardless of how I parked because if I parked correct the scratches would be on the back of my car instead of the front.

Edit: Secondly, they definitely didn't do it backing out because they would've dented instead of brushing alongside the car. This was done by someone pulling in and cutting it too close, or by a cart.

backing out with a rubber bumper would do teh same

Yeah but it'd be harder to back up and brush along side my car considering that their bumper would've been even with the nose of my car... unless of course they were driving like a porsche or a sub-sub compact car that was very small :p

A lady ran into my car today also... :(

I was in my parking spot and she drove up and parked a car away from me. So i start to pull out slow cus I couldnt see and there was nothing, so i pull out a little more and a hear a thud.. The lady walked into the side of my car then was lookin the the back window like its my fault or something.. I thought to myself "what a dumb *****" and she walked away and i drove away.. haha

brian, that sux man but whoever did that will get theirs eventually and derek, you shoulda kept going and ran the woman over lol
